Rostec increases service life of gas turbine engines for long-range aircraft

UEC-Kuznetsov, a Samara-based enterprise of Rostec’s United Engine Corporation, is improving product quality by introducing robotic equipment for applying special hardening coatings. 

UEC-Kuznetsov has commissioned a robotic plasma spraying unit that automatically applies refractory and hardening coatings on engine parts, ensuring absolute repeatability and high quality. 

Rostec to increase component supplies for space industry

In 2022, the Obninsk Research and Production Enterprise “Technologiya” named after A.G. Romashin, a unit of Rosteс State Corporation, will increase output of products for the aerospace industry. Products for launch vehicles and spacecraft will account for the main part of the company’s output in 2022. These are head fairing shells, solar panel frames and thermal control panels. The company will also continue to produce elements for the Russian advanced project to create the “Eagle” manned spacecraft.

Rostec Reduces labour in Engine Blade Production

United Engine Corporation of Rostec has introduced unique technologies for the production of aircraft engine blades. Innovative developments enable production of parts of the most accurate shape, including large-sized ones, and also reduce labor costs and exclude manual labor from the production process. 

The Rybinsk-based UEC-Saturn plant produces engine blades using a device for twisting high-precision titanium blades and a technology for hybrid stamping of blades from a two-phase titanium alloy.

Rosoboron to show Export competence at GOSZAKAZ 2022

Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation) will take part in the XVII All-Russian Forum-Exhibition GOSZAKAZ (STATE ORDER), which will be held from April 6 to 8, 2022 at the Skolkovo Innovation Center, outside of Moscow.

At its stand, the company will showcase products from leading Russian manufacturers for equipping law enforcement agencies, security structures and security personnel working at transport hubs, railway stations and airports.
